The Administration’s Delivering Government Solutions in the 21st Century: Reform Plan and Reorganization Recommendations included a proposal to transition Federal agencies’ business processes and record-keeping to a fully electronic environment and end the National Archives and Records Administration’s (NARA) acceptance of paper records.
Working in partnership with our parent company, Quality Associates, Inc. (QAI), we created the most comprehensive Records Modernization Center in the industry. It provides a centralized web-based resource for educational content, NARA policies and peer-group discussions. Additionally, we implemented a series of live learning events featuring NARA officials along with leading data modernization and records management experts from various government agencies. Throughout 2020 and beyond, we are committed to driving knowledge-based content and dialogue that allow agency officials to share best practices/challenges and receive updates from NARA on new metadata and related guidelines while fostering an environment of collaboration for a 21st century digital government.
If you need to utilize SharePoint’s Record Center for your M-19-21/M-23-07* compliance effort, DocPoint Solutions can align the technology to your records management business requirements. * M-23-07, issued 12/23/2022, is an update to M-19-21, which established several requirements to move Federal agencies to a fully electronic environment. Due to delays in the electronic records transition process during the COVID-19 pandemic, M-23-07 extends the original M-19-21 deadlines by 18 months and reaffirms the underlying goal of the transition to electronic records.
